Darkling Angel

I've been busy of late sorting through the rubbish that tends to pile up in one's home. There's a surprising amount of it - I hauled out three huge black trashbags full of junk today alone. Good thing too - the movers are coming on the third! Anyways, when sorting through various papers I found a sealed envelop with this inside:

Darkling Angel

On a day, not too long ago from here I saw a darkling angel in her beauty
Every move of her's was grace, my heart was pounding face to face
Her all pervading presence set the tempo for this love that crosses time and space

She surrounds me, confounds me, caresses and perfects me
She wants me, taking hold of me
with that taste of smooth perfection upon her lips,
her questing heart met mine as one,
She touched my empty soul and made me deity.

I knew my human days were over when paradise was in her words to me,
I knew that every day apart from her would be my hell,
But when she looks into my eyes I see the love that's shining there just for me

She surrounds me, confounds me, caresses and perfects me
She wants me, taking hold of me
with that taste of smooth perfection upon her lips,
Her questing heart met mine as one,
She touched my empty soul and made me deity.

Heaven crowned or Hell enthroned she is the goddess for me
Caught in each other's arms, it feels so right to have her be there
What fates have led us thus together, and joined our souls as one?

She surrounds me, confounds me, caresses and perfects me
She wants me, taking hold of me
with that taste of smooth perfection upon her lips,
Her questing heart met mine as one,
She touched my empty soul and made me deity.

I've got to say it's quite horribly written, it is full of sentimental drivel, but it reminds me of just how much of a whirlwind Lilith was when she revealed herself to me. I began my obsession early as you can see. Lilith thinks it's sweet, and I think it's rather embarrassing. Anyhow, there it is and it's quite a shock to see just how horrible my sense of poetry was (still pretty damn bad, but definitely complete worlds away better).
